Blue Flag is not intended solely as a certification to be obtained; rather, it serves as a practical tool to promote environmental improvement, enhance safety, support education and tourism, and contribute to regional revitalization.

Over two days, on September 20 (Sat) and 21 (Sun), 2025, the BLUE FLAG Asia Summit 2025 – Towards a Safe and Beautiful Ocean Recognized by the World – was held in Kaizuka City, Osaka Prefecture.

At BLUE FLAG Asia Summit 2025, participants from Japan, South Korea, and India came together to share the initiatives being undertaken in their respective regions, the challenges they face, and the future opportunities ahead.
